These calls can cost up to 35p per minute, specially if you’re calling from your mobile phone. If you have a mobile phone contract, you can usually call any number beginning with 01 or 02 as part of your free minutes allowance but not so with 0845 and 0870.
My newly found solution: SAYNOTO0870.com!
SAYNOTO0870.com has a database of alternative 01 and 02 numbers for 0845 and 0870 numbers. Simply type in the non geographical number you want to call and it will give you a list of alternative numbers beginning with 01 or 02 which are significantly cheaper to call.
You can also search for a telephone number by typing in the name of the company you need to call.

24:Redemption The ‘Prequel’ to Season 7

Season 7 failed to air earlier this year because of the Writers’ Strike. If you’re a 24 fan, you’ll be glad to hear, the long wait is almost over.
Season 7 features a ‘Prequel’ movie which is due to air on Sky 1 tomorrow 24th November as a two hour movie under the name 24:Redemption.
7 Signets grow up by the River Thames
Written on October 25, 2008 – 1:51 pm | by ash |I have seen these seven signets grow up over the course of the summer by the River Thames in Abingdon. I first saw them in May when they were all cute and fluffy but they grew up really quickly and are now almost as big as their parents.
Diggnation Live in London 2008

After a great time at the live diggnation shoot in London last year, I was back at ExCeL yesterday for the second live show in London, home of the lift
